Your double page is looking good Jake. I like the use of the image in the background with a white filter over the top so we can still see the text. You could probably experiment with the contrast of your main image, to give it that more glossy magazine polished finish. If you do don't add too much contrast. Your text is nice but we lose his name and text to the left of the image a little, could you make this slightly darker? The wrapping of the text around the image is nicely done, maybe experiment with where you have placed your quote.
