From my research I gathered information and I chose to select a number of different audiences as it will make the magazine more accessible and I think this is a good idea as with their being different types of music in one magazine you allow for people to differentiate. This is the example of my sample reader which I came up with during my research “Alex is 17, he enjoys going to music festivals and enjoys hanging around with friends, he is not the greatest academic achiever but his enthusiasm allows him to make his friends and he has been to 3 music festivals in the past year and is planning to go abroad with his friends next year to Switzerland to the alpes to enjoy a weekend festival, the bands he is into is kasabian and kings of leon, he is also into some older jam music which him and his friends like to listen to just for fun". This is what I made my magazine around and this along with my research made my magazine specific to how I wanted it, the research meant that I could find out what people look for in a magazine and it allowed me to see how I can lay out the magazine. A magazine which I have based mine upon is NME, as I am trying to attract the same audience which they attract, this is because they distribute different genres I none magazine and this is what I have attempted to do.
